Do you have your shopping done? Check. Are the christmas lights ready to go? Make sure you don't have any burnt bulbs or the whole string wont work (unless they're the newer kind)! How about decorations? You may be putting up a tree this year, and you might want to supplement with fine christmas wreaths. With either or both options, fresh is the way to go (opposed to artificial). The fresh wreaths and trees fill your home with the smell of christmas. How do you celebrate christmas without the familiar smells?
